FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Families have the flexibility to choose between two types of photography sessions. Mini sessions last 15 minutes and include 5 high-resolution digital images, with the option to purchase more images afterwards if desired.

For those looking for a more comprehensive experience, full sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes and provide a full gallery of high-resolution digital images, typically ranging from 40 to 50 images. Please note that travel fees are not included in the full session price and may apply depending on the location.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

The best time to take newborn pictures is typically within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. During this period, newborns are usually sleepier, more curled up, and easier to pose in those adorable, classic newborn positions. Their sleep patterns are still quite predictable, which makes it easier to capture peaceful, serene images.

Additionally, babies at this age are still very flexible, making it possible to achieve those sweet, womb-like poses that are characteristic of newborn photography.

After about two weeks, babies often become more alert and can develop skin issues like baby acne or peeling, so it's ideal to schedule the session within this early window to capture those precious early days.

How should we dress for our family session?

When preparing for your photography session, it's best to choose outfits that reflect your family's personality while keeping a few tips in mind for the best results. Opt for coordinating colors rather than matching outfits to create a harmonious look. Soft, neutral tones and solid colors often work well, as they allow the focus to remain on your family's expressions and interactions.

Avoid large logos, busy patterns, or neon colors, as they can be distracting in photos. Layers and textured fabrics can add depth and interest to your images.

Most importantly, wear something comfortable that makes you feel confident and relaxed, so your natural smiles and personalities shine through in the photos.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Absolutely, it's perfectly okay not to feel confident in front of the camera! My goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your session. We focus on capturing natural, candid moments that reflect your genuine emotions and interactions. There’s no need to worry about over-posing or feeling awkward.

I'll guide you with simple prompts and suggestions, but most of the time, we’ll just let you be yourselves, capturing the natural, beautiful moments as they unfold. By creating a relaxed atmosphere, we'll ensure that your photos are authentic and truly reflect who you are. So, just come ready to enjoy your time together, and I'll take care of the rest!
